My name is Elyssa and I am the artist behind the paintings! I decided to start my business creating pet portraits after I adopted my dog Myla, and after I lost my other dog Charm of 16 years. Our four-legged furry friends have a special place in our hearts and I wanted to create something that you and your family can enjoy in honor of them. I have always loved to paint and create art and thought it would be a perfect opportunity to share what I love to do with other pet owners! Whether it is for a current pet or one who has passed, having a custom portrait of your furry friend is something that you can keep forever. We treat our pets as a part of the family and they deserve only the best! Here at Paws Up Portraits, you can submit a photograph of your preference which we transform into a beautiful piece of art. You are able to choose your size portrait, background and border colors, as well as other features (such as name customization).

We value communication with the customer! Before shipping out the painting of your furry friend, you will be contacted to discuss whether the painting is to your liking or if there is anything you would like to change or add. We hope to meet you and your furry friend soon and create a custom piece you will love!
